here's to the new year, my love.

we had a wonderful new year's holiday visit and though you just left to return to chicago i'm already missing you. but I know you'll be back soon. please don't stay away too long because we are so good together.

ps. does my lack of punctuation and longer sentences trigger a memory of a certain author of a book we recently read for book club? i added my own little flair with the lowercase letters. its so liberating, i may keep it.
